About
Hi, I’m Britain Beshears, a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Michigan State University softball team. Born and raised in Novi, Michigan, I’ve always been passionate about competition, leadership, and representing something bigger than myself. Softball has been a huge part of my life, and being a Spartan has allowed me to grow both on and off the field. Collegiate Career Over my Michigan State career, I’ve earned recognition as Big Ten Player of the Week, NFCA All-America Scholar, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Academic All-B1G, NFCA All-Great Lakes Region, CSC Academic All-District, and B1G All-Academic honoree. I’ve started in more than 100 games as both a first baseman and designated player, serving as team captain for three seasons. At the plate, I’ve been one of MSU’s top power hitters — recording 24 career home runs, which ranks sixth in program history.
